It's Kindergarten Time!

So yesterday I went and registered  my oldest for Kindergarten. Around here they have to do an assessment of their skills to let the teacher know what they are getting. I'll be honest, I was a little nervous about it... I mean, T was a little nervous. I know T is very smart and all, but she just happens to be a bit of a clown and likes to draw attention to herself by being silly. Her dad has taught her this quality (or at least helped develop it!) and I admit that I both love and hate it sometimes. She has a wonderful sense of humor, she just chooses to use it during my small group time at school. I honestly didn't know what to expect for this test! So we went into the room with the test administrator (so thankful I got to be in there, just in case I had to whip her back into line with one of those mommy looks) and all of a sudden I saw my little girl all grown up. Well as grown up as one can be a week before her 5th birthday! She sat down in the chair and got down to business. She answered every question and didn't mess around and she wasn't even overly shy. I was so proud of my kiddo, I am sure I was beaming. So, now she is registered for Kindergarten and we find out what school she goes to after Spring Break in April. I am so excited for this new exciting journey for her, and for all of us.
